Our Client, a Trade Support Institution is looking for a for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Grants and Incentives Officer to join their growing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Incentives and Grants you will support companies with grant and incentive applications, expense claims, and compliance. This role requires strong communication, administrative skills, and knowledge of grant procedures to help Maltese businesses expand internationally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advise businesses on available grants, eligibility, and application processes; organise info sessions and meetings.
- Guide clients through applications and claims, review submissions for accuracy and compliance, and coordinate internally as needed.
- Keep thorough records, prepare progress reports, and help develop tools to streamline processes.
- Serve as the main contact for businesses, collaborate with agencies, and represent the company at events.
- Stay informed on funding opportunities, suggest process improvements, and support new grant initiatives.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Hold an excellent level of written and verbal English.
- Experience in a similar role, grants management, or customer service preferred.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
