Sales Desk Clerk
Central Malta | Up to €20,000 Annually
Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries, providing details on products, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Process customer purchase orders received via email or phone.
Forward purchase orders to the warehouse for fulfillment.
Ensure quoted prices on purchase orders match internal records.
Notify customers about out-of-stock items or price differences.
Enter sales orders into the accounting system and generate invoices.
Verify billing details to ensure invoice accuracy.
Coordinate with the Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure timely order dispatch.
Reconcile invoices with drivers’ log sheets.
Follow up on product returns and outstanding payments.
Assist the Sales and Administration team with general tasks such as sorting and filing invoices.
Skills & Requirements
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate data entry.
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Ability to manage customer inquiries with professionalism and composure.
Proficiency in both Maltese and English is essential.
Competency in Microsoft Excel.
Adaptability to changing work demands.
Prior experience as an Office or Invoicing Clerk is advantageous.Availability for early morning and/or late afternoon shifts is a must. Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, with one day off.
