A Malta-based port operations company involved in the handling and coordination of maritime cargo and container activities is seeking a Finance Clerk to join its finance team. The company supports day-to-day port operations through financial, administrative, and logistical services linked to shipping and cargo movement.
Responsibilities:
Cash handling and daily cashiering duties
Issuing invoices and processing customer payments
Daily reconciliations and end-of-day reporting
Assistance with month-end closing and audit preparation
Billing and reconciliation of port workers’ accounts
General finance and administrative support as required
Notes:
- Some paid overtime might be required, especially at the beginning and end of each month
- The position is offered on a 4-year fixed-term contract, renewable yearly, and will become indefinite thereafter.
