Our client within the Financial Services Industry is looking for an Analytical Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Anti-Money Laundering team, duties include:
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence;
- Maintaining Information Management Systems;
- Updating both computerised and paper-based records;
- Coordinating events such as workshops, seminars, and training courses;
- Providing general administrative support to Section staff as needed;
- Handling document management tasks, including data entry, scanning, and filing;
- Screening and managing telephone calls and inquiries appropriately;
- Coordinating with the Corporate Services Section, particularly regarding staff travel arrangements;
- Contributing to the development and adherence to standard operating procedures;
- Undertaking any additional assigned duties.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
1st January - 15th July: 0800hrs - 1700hrs
16th July - 14th September: 0800hrs - 1330hrs
15th September - 31st December: 0800hrs - 1700hrs
Requirements
- Fluency in written and verbal Maltese and English
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Previous experience in AML is preferred
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Hold excellent analytical and report writing skills
Education and Experience
- An MQF Level 4 standard of education with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience, or a School Leaving Certificate with at least 5 years of experience.
