On behalf of our client, a well-established and growing tax, audit and consulting firm, we are looking for a Tax Associate to be based at their offices in Paphos, Cyprus.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with various tax compliance matters, including provisional taxes, Special Defence Contributions (SDCs), and other related obligations
- Assists in the preparation and submission of tax computations and tax returns for companies
- Prepares and submits tax returns for employees and self-employed individuals
- Supports the review of financial statements to identify potential tax exposures and Transfer Pricing implications
- Prepares and submits applications for certificates to the Tax Department
- Communicates with the Tax Department on behalf of clients under supervision
- Provides support on direct tax matters, including basic tax planning and advisory tasks
- Keeps up to date with developments in tax legislation and assists in communicating key changes to clients
- Supports senior team members in the preparation of tax rulings and advisory projects
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation
- Excellent command of both Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Experience in Transfer Pricing matters will be considered an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
