On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Associate to join their team. In this role you will support the delivery of tax engagements, including preparing filings, assisting with planning and advisory work, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist tax managers and senior associates in delivering comprehensive direct tax advisory and consulting services
Contribute to the development and implementation of effective tax strategies for clients
Conduct research and analysis to identify tax optimization opportunities and mitigate potential risks
Prepare and review a variety of tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust filings
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete submission of assigned tax filings
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to support compliance and advisory services
Support and maintain strong client relationships by providing responsive and high-quality service
Address client tax inquiries and clearly communicate complex tax concepts
Collaborate with colleagues to meet client expectations and achieve firm objectives
Maintain organized documentation and workpapers for all client engagements
Participate in internal training programs and ongoing professional development
Adhere to firm policies, procedures, and professional standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Prior experience in tax preparation and compliance is preferred
Solid understanding of applicable tax laws and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
