Our client is an international CSP who is looking for a Senior VAT Specialist to join their team. You will lead and mentor the VAT team and provide advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of VAT
Responsibilities
Deliver expert VAT advice and guidance to clients across all areas, including compliance, registration, VAT returns, and the VAT treatment of transactions.
Lead and supervise VAT-related activities and responsibilities.
Review and analyse clients’ financial information to ensure adherence to VAT regulations and identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide VAT training and support to both clients and colleagues on relevant rules and procedures.
Oversee the preparation and review of VAT returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission to the appropriate authorities.
Handle VAT-related enquiries from clients and regulatory bodies.
Support the resolution of VAT disputes and represent clients during VAT audits.
Assess clients’ VAT compliance processes and recommend improvements where needed.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in VAT compliance or advisory
Client relationship management skills
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, ACCA, or a related field
