One of our clients, highly specialised in the Retail industry, is urgently looking to onboard a Senior Treasury Manager to join their growing team of professionals; this person will be working closely with the Group CFO, and responsibilities will include the following :
Duties :
- Manage the overall Treasury Group function across the group and its overseas entities.
- Maintain strong banking relationships and ensure compliance with financial obligations and covenants.
- Oversee group cash flow forecasts to ensure a robust financial structure.
- Forecast funding and hedging requirements while managing daily cash flow and debt facilities.
- Manage foreign currency exposure, interest rates, and costs, implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Support feasibility studies and expansion projects by assessing financing and liquidity needs.
- Ensure timely settlement of inter-company balances and collaborate on transfer pricing policies.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable to optimise and oversee payment and collection processes.
- Review and approve client on-boarding and contract re negotiations for favourable credit terms.
- Develop treasury policies and ensure adherence to financial standards.
- Prepare reports for management and the Board, liaising with senior leadership as needed.
- Support the month-end process as required, and give any necessary assistance to team members and senior management
Requirements
- At least five years' experience managing a Treasury function within the Retail Industry, holding solid exposure to and experience in Operations
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, banking, or a related field
