Senior Financial Accountant

Our client within the private aviation sector is looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant.

Main responsibilities include :

Financial Leadership & Planning

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across private jet operations
• Monitor business performance and provide clear insights on financial trends, risks, and opportunities
• Produce high-quality management reports and financial dashboards for senior leadership
• Support strategic planning and long-term financial modelling

Operational & Commercial Insight

• Analyse profitability across aircraft operations, charter activities, and related services
• Collaborate with operations teams to optimise cost structures and improve efficiency
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including aircraft utilisation, margins, and cost per flight hour
• Provide financial analysis to support fleet planning and operational decision-making

Financial Control & Governance

• Ensure strong financial controls and operational discipline across business activities
• Oversee accurate financial reporting and cost allocation
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or commercial finance roles
• Experience in aviation, transportation, logistics, or other operational industries is advantageous
• PowerBI experience will be considered an asset

Education and Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent preferred)
