Senior Finance Officer
We are seeking a Senior Finance Officer to join our clients team, a company focusing on Climate and Sustainability.
Responsibilities:
Handling bookkeeping
Being responsible for the cash management, insurance, financial reporting
Supporting in the cash flows to ensure they are aligned with the day to day accounting and records
Supporting with the management accounts
Supporting with the development of accounting tools
Ensuring that all complies with national and local financial requirements
Supporting management with risk management analyses
Monitor business performance
Managing third party contracts
Supporting in the day to day
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and industry locally
Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
Experience leading, supporting or mentoring a team is a must
Education and Experience
A Degree Level, MQF Level 6 or higher is a must for this role, in Accounting, Financial Services or related fields
Benefits
Hybrid working after 6 months of employment
Flexible working hours (core hours 9:00-15:30 - rest can be adjusted)
Probation is of 1 year duration - can be discussed
