Senior Finance Manager

Our client is a leader in the FMCG industry. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Financial Manager leads the Analyst team in delivering forward-looking financial insights that support strategy and key business decisions. The role acts as a trusted advisor to operations, providing clear analysis and guidance to help steer the company effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach the finance analysis team, coordinating workload, reviewing output, and supporting staff development.
• Provide forward-looking financial insights to guide operational planning and strategic decisions.
• Oversee costing activities, including labour, overheads, and product cost structures, ensuring systems and data remain accurate and up to date.
• Track manufacturing performance, analyse deviations from targets, and work with operations and technical teams to address inefficiencies.
• Ensure timely production of manufacturing financial reports, management updates, and operational KPIs.
• Manage annual planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow projections for labour and overheads.
• Lead initiatives to streamline reporting, improve data quality, and automate recurring processes.
• Prepare financial evaluations for capital investments and support company-wide risk assessment and compliance efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years overall local experience, of which 5 years in a Finance Manager.
• Previous experience in FMCG industry would be an asset
