A leading investments firm, providing expert advice and solutions to clients, is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Executive to join their growing accounting team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- Prepare and maintain accurate revenue forecasts using internal systems, ensuring projections reflect current and reliable data across multiple providers.
- Reconcile ongoing and initial commissions against expected figures, investigating and resolving discrepancies as required.
- Communicate effectively with various providers to identify and rectify potential variances.
- Support payment processing activities as needed.
- Continuously reconcile prepayments and accruals to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Post invoices and make necessary accounting adjustments up to the trial balance stage.
- Collaborate directly with accountants in international offices to maintain consistency across operations.
- Assist with audit processes for selected group companies, ensuring all documentation and work papers are properly filed and organized.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks to support the efficient day-to-day operations of the department.
Requirements
- Proficient in English and Maltese (both written and spoken).
- Experience in financial services or a similar position is preferred.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Education and Experience
- Minimum A-Level qualification in Accounting (or equivalent), with progress towards an ACCA qualification (or equivalent) considered an asset.
