We are working with an international CSP who are looking for a Senior Accountant. This person will be responsible for supervising financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, and compliance, while leading the Finance team. This role also covers overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, improving cash flow management, and ensuring adherence to regulations, alongside contributing to strategic financial planning and informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
Prepare timely monthly and quarterly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports.
Oversee budgeting processes and manage overall financial operations, including reporting systems.
Supervise accounting activities such as reconciliations, financial reporting, and debtor follow-ups.
Manage cash flow, banking activities, and ensure efficient financial performance.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, VAT requirements, and audit standards, while maintaining internal controls.
Lead the finance team and provide strategic financial insights to support senior management decision-making.
Requirements
4+ years local work experience in a similar role
Ideally, at least 1 year of experience managing a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Tools.
Excellent communication. Fluency in both Maltese and English
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or any relevant qualification/ ACCA qualification.
