Senior Accountant (gaming)

  Central Malta  |  €45,000 - €50,000 Annually 

Our client, a gaming company is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and reviewing of accounting data 
  • Preparing and submitting of VAT and tax returns
  • Reconciliation of VAT GL accounts 
  • Preparing of quarterly management accounts
  • Responsible for inter company recharging
  • Managing bank relationships and approving of payments
  • Responsible for the yearly group audits
  • Mentoring and coaching a junior member of the team and assisting where required
  • Any other duty which may be required from time to time

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role within the gaming industry
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess excellent intrapersonal skills
  • Hold excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Education and Experience

  • A fully qualified and warranted accountant
