Our client within the Insurance Industry is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Main responsibilities include :
- Reviewing insurance and general accounting entries leading to monthly preparation and review of Management accounts
- Coordinating the timely submission of monthly accounting data from third party local and international insurance managers
- Financial reporting, and assisting in the annual forecasting and budgets process
- Assisting in the completion of Solvency II and other regulatory returns and the completion of annual audits
- Provide guidance & supervision to the accounting team
- Recommend and undertake continuous system and process improvements to improve efficiencies and ensure quality service
Requirements
- Have excellent organisational and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in Insurance Accounting and IFRS 17 will be considered an asset
Education and Experience
- In possession of an Accounting qualification (University Degree, ACCA, or equivalent)
