About the Role
As Senior Accountant, you’ll be a key pillar within the Finance Department ensuring accuracy, strengthening controls, and driving improvements across several jurisdictions. What You’ll Be Doing
- In this role, you will own the integrity of financial data by maintaining precise, compliant, and timely accounting records within the ERP system.
- You’ll manage and execute payment runs across multiple jurisdictions, keeping a close eye on internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Month-end is where your analytical strengths shine: you’ll handle comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, banking, vendors, customers, accruals.
- You will be supporting the preparation of management accounts and statutory reporting.
- You will also take an active role in payroll processing across applicable regions, tax/VAT submissions, and the coordination of statutory and tax audits by preparing audit files and addressing auditor queries.
- Your role also spans continuous improvement: identifying process gaps, contributing to automation initiatives, and working closely with finance colleagues to streamline cross-functional operations.
- You’ll mentor junior accountants, providing guidance that helps elevate overall team performance.
About you:
- A Chartered/Certified Accountant qualification (or equivalent)
- 2+ years' experience in a finance or accounting role
- Solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Strong analytical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in D365 and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
- Experience in the gaming industry (considered a plus, not a requirement)
