On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Supervisor to join their team. In this role you’ll oversee payroll processing, ensure accuracy and compliance, and work closely with the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle payroll processing for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
Liaise with clients to obtain, validate, and maintain up-to-date payroll and employee information
Maintain comprehensive and accurate payroll and personnel records
Process salary revisions, retroactive payments, and employee termination settlements
Prepare and submit statutory payroll filings, including TD7 and TD63 returns
Handle employee and employer registrations with the Tax and Social Insurance Departments, including Ergani
Ensure accurate calculation and remittance of payroll taxes and statutory contributions
Monitor ongoing compliance with payroll legislation and statutory reporting deadlines
Support month-end payroll consolidation, reconciliations, and reporting activities
Provide assistance with basic accounting and bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable and receivable
Develop and sustain strong client relationships through consistent, professional service delivery
Carry out additional duties as assigned by management from time to time
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
Four to five years of proven experience in payroll processing or a comparable accounting role
Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation, Social Insurance procedures, and Tax Authority requirements
Hands-on experience with payroll and accounting systems such as E-soft, Odoo, or similar platforms
Well-developed analytical and organizational abilities, with exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating efficiently within a team setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
