Payroll Supervisor

  Nicosia  |  €30,000 - €33,000 Annually 

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Supervisor to join their team. In this role you’ll oversee payroll processing, ensure accuracy and compliance, and work closely with the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle payroll processing for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
  • Liaise with clients to obtain, validate, and maintain up-to-date payroll and employee information
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate payroll and personnel records
  • Process salary revisions, retroactive payments, and employee termination settlements
  • Prepare and submit statutory payroll filings, including TD7 and TD63 returns
  • Handle employee and employer registrations with the Tax and Social Insurance Departments, including Ergani
  • Ensure accurate calculation and remittance of payroll taxes and statutory contributions
  • Monitor ongoing compliance with payroll legislation and statutory reporting deadlines
  • Support month-end payroll consolidation, reconciliations, and reporting activities
  • Provide assistance with basic accounting and bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships through consistent, professional service delivery
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management from time to time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
  • Four to five years of proven experience in payroll processing or a comparable accounting role
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation, Social Insurance procedures, and Tax Authority requirements
  • Hands-on experience with payroll and accounting systems such as E-soft, Odoo, or similar platforms
  • Well-developed analytical and organizational abilities, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating efficiently within a team setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
