A Maltese business group within the FMCG, are looking for an Payroll & Finance Clerk to join our team and support the day-to-day payroll and finance functions of the Group. This role is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with numbers and maintaining accurate records in a dynamic business environment.
Responsabilities:
Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Maintain employee records and payroll documentation
Prepare and submit Jobsplus documentation and other statutory reports
Respond to payroll-related queries from employees
Assist with the maintenance of accounting records and financial transactions
Perform bank, supplier, and account reconciliations
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Provide general administrative and finance support as required
Requirements
Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software is considered an asset
Able to work independently and within a team
Fluent in English, and ideally also in Maltese
Strong attention to detail, organisation, communication skills & ability to handle confidential information
Previous payroll experience is preferred
Knowledge of Talexio will be considered an asset
Education and Experience
Qualification in accounting, finance or payroll is considered an asset, but not a must
