Our client within the shipping and trading sector is seeking an Accountant to join their team. The selected candidate will report to and collaborate closely with colleagues across their international offices, offering valuable exposure to overseas markets.
Responsibilities:
Handling of books and records
Handling general ledger, journals and profile and loss
Preparing management accounts
Provides and monitors operating budgets and forecasts
Cost reviews
Assisting with the internal and external audits
Supporting the International group finance team
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of local experience in a similar role and industry
Excellent communication skills in English
Involves travelling
Comfortable working independently
Education and Experience
Fully qualified and warranted Accountant
