Junior Accountant

Our client, an international company, is looking for a Junior Accountant to join this growing team 

Responsbilities:

• Review financial reporting packs submitted by local and international subsidiaries.
• Support group consolidation activities and assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Participate in interim and year-end external audit processes for selected entities.
• Provide support with forecasting, due diligence, and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
• Assist subsidiary finance teams with specific assignments when needed.
• Support intercompany reconciliation processes across the group.
• Carry out additional finance-related tasks as required from time to time.

Requirements

• Has approximately two years local experience in a similar role
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese
• Auditing experience and knowledge of IFRSs would be considered an asset

Education and Experience

• Actively progressing through ACCA or equivalent qualification, ideally in the final stages
