Our client, a leading Manufacturing company in Malta is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing team.
Main responsibilities include :
- Assist Finance Accountants with month-end reporting, forecasting activities, data provision, and the preparation of ad-hoc financial reports.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and support stock control reporting.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring adherence to Finance policies and internal controls.
- Contribute to the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure the accuracy of the Nominal Ledger and prepare reconciliations for key account balances.
- Perform additional duties as required, consistent with the role and your capabilities, to support the broader needs of the business.
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles.
Education and Experience
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
