Junior Accountant
Our client, a leading Manufacturing company in Malta is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing team.
Main responsibilities include :
Assist Finance Accountants with month-end reporting, forecasting activities, data provision, and the preparation of ad-hoc financial reports.
Maintain fixed asset registers and support stock control reporting.
Monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring adherence to Finance policies and internal controls.
Contribute to the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Ensure the accuracy of the Nominal Ledger and prepare reconciliations for key account balances.
Perform additional duties as required, consistent with the role and your capabilities, to support the broader needs of the business.
Requirements
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of cost accounting principles.
Education and Experience
Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
