Junior Accountant
A client of ours specialising in Construction and Engineering is looking to onboard a Junior Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Support Accounts Executives in ensuring accurate and efficient recording of financial data
Contribute to the streamlining of key accounting processes
Assist in the implementation and review of internal controls
Aid in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Perform bank and control account reconciliations
Monitor and manage cash flow
Analyse financial data to evaluate the company’s financial performance
Support the preparation of the annual budget and relevant forecasting
Collaborate with IT departments to enhance financial automation and reporting systems
Maintain strong relationships with external auditors and ensure audit preparation is carried out in a timely manner.
Provide assistance to Group Management as required
Requirements
At least 2 years of previous experience in an accounting role
Able to work with tight deadlines and under pressure
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of SAP would be an asset however not a requirement
Education and Experience
Actively studying ACCA; in their initial stages
