Our client, an International Organisation within the investment sector, is seeking to recruit an Investment &Finance Analyst to join their expanding team. The role involves working closely with the Head of New Business, alongside a team of analysts.
Responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting:
Handling client invoices and over due payments
Managing payment of invoices
Supporting in the preparation of management accounts
Preparing monthly financials
Preparing actual to budget variance analysis
Updating the forecast module
Portfolio Management:
Handling an ongoing portfolio
Analysing the client collateral reporting and providing recommendations on variances, observations and changes
Reviewing and analysing the client's financial reporting (management accounts & cash flow forecast) including client trading performance
Handling covenant reporting and calculations
Preparing monthly portfolio update reports for presentation
Performing checks on samples to audit documentation
Supporting with onboarding of new clients
Preparing collateral and financial monitoring templates for new clients
Risk Operations:
Administration of clients bank accounts
Preparing borrowing base reports
Handling source of funding process
Investigating KYC and AML requirements
Assisting with updating internal processes
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role locally
Experience in transaction, lending, or advisory would be an asset
Education and Experience
Qualifications in ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent
