A reputable client of ours, highly specialised in the Healthcare sector, is looking to onboard an International Group Financial Controller to join their growing team of professionals. The designated person will be required to oversee day-to-day financial operations, while driving strategic finance transformation initiatives; Responsibilities are as follows.
Duties:
- Prepare technical accounting guidance for the application of key IFRS standards and complex transactions, as required.
- Ensure accurate, timely, quarterly group financial statements in compliance with IFRS and stock exchange regulations.
- Operate, maintain, and continuously enhance the group consolidation model.
- Coordinate with external auditors across various jurisdictions, primarily the US, UK, and Switzerland, ensuring timely and successful audits, overseeing the respective audit processes and preparation accordingly
- Design, implement, and monitor a robust internal control framework.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and stock exchange requirements.
- Coordinate accounting processes, policies, and systems across all group entities.
- Develop, mentor, and coach the accounting team leading by example and assuring cohesiveness across the team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in financial reporting, ideally gained within a multinational or publicly listed organisation.
- Demonstrated solid experience in group consolidation and complex technical accounting matters.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and overseeing internal control frameworks.
Education and Experience
- Must be a fully qualified finance professional (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
