Internal Auditor

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €34,000 Annually 

Our client, a Corporate Service Provider is looking to recruit an Internal Auditor to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Handling audits in line with the audit plan
  • Developing audit programs and testing procedures according to the risk and test objectives
  • Communicate any issues, whilst offering recommendations 
  • Preparing internal audit reports 
  • Supporting and communicating the findings and recommendation to senior management 
  • Supporting in follow up audits 
  • Conducting risk assessments and identifying controls 
  • Supporting in the development in new initiatives and procedures
  • Assisting in the development of the annual internal audit plan

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in audit, in a similar industry locally
  • Excellent verbal and written English

Education and Experience

  • Actively studying ACCA, Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent certification would be considered an asset
