Head of FP&A

A reputable client of ours, specialised within the Travel industry, is looking to onboard a Head of FP&A, to join their team of professionals. The designated person will manage the financial architecture of a global portfolio, overseeing diverse subsidiaries, navigating high fixed-cost structures and variable costs (fuel, food, labour) while ensuring seamless financial reporting across international borders.

Duties:

• Lead the annual budgeting process and multi-year strategic plans, ensuring departmental goals align with the overarching corporate strategy.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated rolling forecasts and long-range financial models. 
• Perform "What-If" scenario analysis to stress-test business assumptions.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide monthly variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual). identifying trends and early warning signals in business performance.
• Prepare high-level presentations for the Board of Directors and investors, translating complex financial data into clear, narrative-driven insights.
• Partner with department Heads to optimise spend, improve margins, and evaluate the ROI of new initiatives.
• Scale the financial tech stack by implementing or optimizing ERP and EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) tools to automate reporting.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in senior finance roles, and strong exposure / familiarity to local legislations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Flexibility to travel internationally as required ( approx. 4-5 times annually )
• A strong communicator who can freely articulate and able to build strategic alignment across diverse senior stakeholders, at board level.

Education and Experience

• Ideally has a professional certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
