We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join a reputable client of ours, specialised in the Aviation sector. The designated person will be working closely with Senior Management and the Board, and responsibilities are as follows:
Duties:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, audits, and statutory obligations (VAT, payroll, etc.), providing hands-on support when necessary.
- Implement and maintain preventive and review controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with Senior Management and various teams to align and implement financial and business strategies.
- Liaise with and support external auditors, preparing financial statements as required.
- Lead the budgeting and cash flow forecasting process.
- Drive the implementation of finance-related projects and process improvements.
- Continuously review and enhance finance and accounting procedures and policies.
- Prepare and present quarterly and annual financial performance reports to the Board.
- Conduct financial analysis to forecast performance and support decision-making.
Requirements
- Have solid knowledge of and exposure to local legislations and regulations
- A minimum of 3 years + working in a similar senior role
- Must have excellent verbal and communication skills in English, as well as commendable interpersonal skills
- Multi-task and be able to manage different deadlines and priorities, also executing all captioned responsibilities in a seamless manner
Education and Experience
- Must be a fully qualified and locally warranted Finance professional
