One of our clients, highly specialised in the Hospitality industry, is looking to onboard a Group Financial Controller to join their team. The designated person will be working closely with the Management team and overseeing the Group's financial operations, budgeting and forecasting:
Duties:
- Review and analyse financial statements, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Prepare financial reports for the management team, reviewing and approving financial statements as required
- Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Monitor and manage Group liquidity, cash flow, and working capital requirements.
- Ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Implement robust internal controls and financial policies across the Group.
- Monitoring actual results against budgeted amounts, while providing financial analysis and advice to management.
- Reviewing all ledger details, guest ledgers, city ledgers and deposit ledgers to validate proper payment and revenue posting, overseeing any related imbalances and co-ordinating these with the respective team accordingly
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 + years local experience working in a similar role
- Able to work well within a team as well as independently
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Education and Experience
- Must be a fuly qualified and locally warranted finance professional
