Group Consolidation Controller

  South of Malta  |  €70,000 - €75,000 Annually 

Our client a large International Company is looking for a Group Consolidation Controller to join their team

Responsbilties: 

  • Oversee the consolidation of financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Review and validate financial inputs from subsidiaries
  • Perform adjustments related to intercompany transactions and currency conversions
  • Ensure alignment with IFRS and other applicable standards
  • Compile consolidated reports, disclosures, and support statutory submissions
  • Maintain robust consolidation procedures and controls
  • Optimize reporting tools and drive process improvements
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors during reviews
  • Provide financial summaries and insights for senior stakeholders
  • Support planning cycles by supplying group-level financial data
  • Promote consistency and best practices across finance teams globally

Requirements

  • Must have at least 7 years’ post qualification experience, with a strong emphasis on financial consolidation
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and handling projects assigned
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

  • Fully qualified Accountant and in possession of a CPA warrant
