A client of ours, specialised in the Online Gaming industry, is looking to onboard a highly experienced Group Chief Financial Officer to join their strong and well established team of professionals. The designated person will be responsible for all aspects of the Finance function, and will be working closely with the CEO;
Duties
- Experience in managing a finance team, building and maintaining strong relationships with auditors, financial institutions, investors, and regulators
- Preparation of individual company and consolidated accounts, both for management reporting and statutory reporting purposes under IFRS standards.
- Responsibility for tax compliance (including tax calculations) and highly knowledgeable in transfer pricing rules.
- Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&As), including deal structuring, due diligence, and integration.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships, ensuring optimal capital allocation and liquidity.
- Responsible for statutory reporting of individual and group accounts, monthly management reporting, reconciliations with payment processors, suppliers and customers.
- Developing financial models, strategic planning for the future, strategic reviews of company’s financial structure.
- Development of internal financial controls and reporting systems.
- Ensure proper and detailed reconciliations with payment processors, game providers and other suppliers.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years experience woking in a similar senior position within the online gambling sector
- Proficiency in Financial software and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to details and ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
- Dynamic, self-driven, proactive team-player, willing to put in the hours required to help elevate the company to the next level.
- Must have impeccable verbal and written communication skills in English
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, or Accounting, and be locally warranted
