One of our key clients, a leading provider in Fiduciary and Corporate services, with a strong global presence, is currently seeking to employ a Funds Director to join their team
Duties:
- Reporting to the Managing Director, and leading all aspects of the fund's team, as well as being the central point of contact for Fund related projects and assignments
- Taking a lead role in identifying problems and potential risks and being readily available to offer suitable solutions
- Communicating directly with clients as well as with industry professionals, also being involved in other specific projects
- Managing all Fund Operations aspects and delegating accordingly
- Reviewing and management of Financial Statements
- Actively involved in Business Development and Customer Relations
Skill-sets and Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in a leadership role within Funds and/or Asset Management
- Previous experience with NAV Calculation, Transfer Agency and Tax Compliance, as well as consolidation of accounts and IFRS regulations is essential
- Must possess excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience coordinating Quality Assurance processes will be considered a strong asset
Education & Experience
Must be ACCA qualified, or hold a related Degree in Accounting
