Financial Planning Manager
Our client, a leading Retail company is looking to recruit a Financial Planning Manager to join their team.
Main Responsibilities :
Analyse and explain variances against forecast, budget, and prior-year results, identifying improvement opportunities
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Perform detailed financial analysis to identify business challenges and recommend solutions
Prepare and deliver regular financial performance reports and updates for leadership
Lead budgeting, reforecasting, and topline target-setting activities
Support evaluation of new initiatives, expansions, and feasibility assessments
Collaborate on key projects and strategic initiatives
Coach and develop team members
Work with finance and operations teams on system and accounting improvements
Conduct monthly variance and cost overrun analysis
Requirements
Minimum of 2/3 years’ experience in finance, consulting, accounting, or a related discipline
Strong commercial insight with the ability to understand key business performance drivers
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
