Financial Controller

A well established European asset management group is seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their local team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:  

• Preparing, analyzing, and delivering monthly financial and management reports for group and regulatory purposes
• Driving the annual budget and intra-year forecast processes, ensuring streamlined data aggregation and insightful analysis.
• Championing process automation by designing and implementing workflows that reduce manual tasks, improve data accuracy, and speed up consolidation/reporting cycles.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and automated reporting routines using ERP platforms, BI solutions and scripting tools
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities within and beyond finance whilst promoting digital transformation.
• Leading and participating in automation projects, such as integrating data feeds, building robotic process automation scripts, and supporting system migrations or upgrades.
• Serving as a subject matter expert for advanced Excel models, ERP/BI systems, and automation best practices.
• Conducting analyses and support scenario modeling for decision-makers.
• Ensuring compliance is in line with internal controls and local regulatory reporting requirements 

Requirements

• Minimum 3 -5 years working experience in a similar role within FP&A, Financial Reporting and Controlling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Team player with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Hands-on experience with ERP/reporting systems such as Cognos and Tagetik

Education and Experience

• Possess a Degree in Finance, Business Analysis or related qualification
