Financial Controller

  Central Malta  |  €60,000 - €65,000 Annually 

Our client a leader in financial services is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all annual financial statements in line with the applicable regulations and submit them to the regulator in a timely manner.
  • • Prepare tax calculations and ensure that the tax returns are submitted within the applicable deadlines.
  • • Prepare all regulatory and statistical filing in line with the applicable regulations and submit to regulator in a timely manner.
  • • Review and submit external financial reports  within deadlines.
  • • Maintain relationships with the Banks.
  • • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent and inclusive communication skills with colleagues at all levels
  • Able to manage a team and present findings in a professional manner

Education and Experience

  • ACCA qualified or in the processes of being fully qualified
