A great opportunity has arisen for a Financial Analyst to join the growing team of a leading international group of companies. The role involves supporting financial planning and analysis by tracking KPIs, conducting variance analysis, and delivering insights to aid management decisions. It includes aligning revenue forecasts and budgets with business goals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed variance analysis, comparing actual monthly results to forecasts and budgets.
- Identify KPIs and monitor against set targets, forecast and provide insights on future performance and flag underperforming metrics to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards with visuals for inclusion in narrative reports or presentation to senior management as needed
- Prepare narrative reports (for each division) to explain variances, ensuring they provide actionable insights and context for decision-making by liaising with Directors of Finance/Divisional CFOs.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
- Analyse costs and expenses to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Stay informed on market trends and industry conditions to forecast impacts on the business and provide insights into mitigating potential negative impacts.
- Conducting comparative analysis and benchmarking for industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Power BI, Excel and SQL
- 3 years of experience in a similar role in FP&A
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
