Finance Officer

  Central Malta  |  €23,000 - €25,000 Annually 

Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Malta is looking to recruit a Finance officer to join their growing team.

  • Prepare monthly financial and operational reports to support the analysis of the company’s financial performance.
  • Assist in the creation of financial reports and insights required by senior management.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review accounts payable ageing reports on a monthly basis and ensure supplier payments are processed in line with agreed terms.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank accounts regularly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the preparation, accuracy, and compliance of financial data with fiscal and internal control requirements.
  • Maintain organised and accurate records and reports related to accounting and bookkeeping functions
  • Complete and submit National Statistics Office (NSO) surveys and reports as required.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and ensure proper financial reporting and accounting of inventory.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to support the timely and accurate execution of the company’s statutory audit.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and effective team collaboration abilities.

Education and Experience

  • In the process of obtaining an ACCA qualification or equivalent.
