Our client, a well-established Company, specialised within Business Support Services is seeking an accomplished Finance Mangar to join their growing team, and assist the Head of Finance with continued growth and operational excellence.
Duties:
Supervise and mentor the Finance team as required
Conduct regular department checks to ensure compliance with internal controls.
Actively monitor the Sales and Purchase ledgers to ensure receivables are collected promptly and payables are settled within terms, overseeing the accuracy of the sales ledger, purchase ledger, and overall credit risk.
Provide operational support in the implementation of new financial software and ERP enhancements.
Create, document, and regularly update departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and continuity during and after the digital transformation.
Ensure data migration is seamless and that the team is trained on all new systems.
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, providing timely comprehensive management accounts, and variance analysis.
Review existing manual workflows and design automated replacements.
Assisting the Head of Finance in the annual budget preparation and monthly forecasting.
Prepare VAT computations and ensure the timely submission of returns, as well as ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Conduct and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations as necessary to ensure absolute data integrity.
Function as the primary point of contact for annual financial audits, preparing all necessary schedules and liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth process.
Requirements
4 years’ + experience in a senior accounting or mid-level management role.
Experience in managing senior and junior staff; able to delegate and coach effectively.
Ability to interpret complex financial data.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills n English
Education and Experience
Must be ACCA qualified or be in possession of an equivalent qualification
