Our client, a healthcare importation business is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Determining the appropriate allocation of resources across the organization whilst overseeing such activities on a constant basis
Preparing monthly management accounts including the required reconciliation statements, accruals and prepayments whilst presenting this to the management on a monthly basis
Gathering a detailed understanding of the operational and commercial aspects of the business and having the ability to interpret financial results and identify areas of concern and investigate accordingly
Processing of payroll including any related filings with the relevant authorities
Submission of VAT and tax returns
Liaising with auditors with regards to the annual audit
Overseeing the overall operation of the finance department
Preparation of an annual budget and forecasts as required
Any other duty which may be required from time to time from the management
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Ability to work under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines
Possess excellent intrapersonal and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Education and Experience
Fully qualified accountant holding a local warrant
