Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal finance role within a well-established and expanding group operating across the scaffolding, construction, and industrial services sectors in Malta and internationally. Your Impact

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong financial controls.
• Manage client accounts, including invoicing processes and the supervision of receivables and collections
• Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and detailed reconciliations to support business decisions
• Handle statutory obligations, including VAT submissions and other regulatory filings
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies
• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, coordinating annual audits and preparing supporting documentation
• Contribute to improving financial processes and strengthening internal controls as the business scales

Requirements

• 2–3 years’ hands-on experience in an accounting role (experience within construction or industrial services is an asset)
• Practical experience using SFM accounting software
• Fluency in both Maltese and English
• Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines
• Confidence to oversee financial operations and take ownership of outcomes

Education and Experience

• A degree in Accountancy or an ACCA qualification
