As Finance Manager, you will support strategic decision-making within the Finance Department within a group in the Hospitality Industry, and ensure financial operations run smoothly, accurately, and in full compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Take Ownership Of
- Working closely with the Financial Controller, you’ll play a central role in the preparation of management accounts, budgeting cycles, and reporting for both the main group and specific operational entities such as property operations.
- You’ll oversee the Billing Team and Creditors/Cashes Team, ensuring their processes are efficient, controlled, and aligned with best practices.
- You will review fixed asset reconciliations, intercompany and creditor balances, and support overheads monitoring,
- You will be ensuring all documentation, including VAT numbers, proformas, and addresses so they are verified and compliant.
- You’ll champion process optimisation by reviewing Standard Operating Procedures and identifying opportunities to enhance financial controls and workflow efficiency.
- This role also puts you at the forefront of compliance: managing tax credit applications, EU funding submissions, VAT/ECO/Intrastat reporting, and staying alert to any regulatory developments that impact the group.
- You’ll contribute to group restructuring initiatives, assist with audits and board reports, and support MBR filings and statutory submissions.
- Beyond the technical responsibilities, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Financial Controller to diagnose departmental gaps and drive solutions that strengthen the entire finance function.

Education and Experience
- You must be in possession of a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- At least 3 years of solid local accounting experience
- Previous working experience as a finance manager especially in the hospitality industry will be considered as an asset.
