Finance Manager

A well established international company is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the CFO with running the financial operations of the company. The chosen candidate will be gaining exposure on various entities including oversees.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts for local and foreign entities
• Review of management accounts for other foreign entities and liaise any queries with the finance team oversees
• Assist the CFO in group consolidation of actuals, subsidiary and group cash flow management, monthly forecasts and the preparation of IFRS financial statements
• Update bank accounts and prepare monthly bank reconciliations as necessary
• Where necessary, assist with recording suppliers’ invoices and issuing outgoing invoices.
• Be in liaison with the Country Manager with regards to expense recharges and keep a good audit trail to minimize disputes with tenants
• Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
• Keep subsidiary tax computations up to date and account for tax charge accordingly
• Keep inter-group transactions and balances reconciled on a monthly basis
• Prepare VAT returns for local entities, payments and bank transfers for authorization by CFO
• Monitor debtors’ collection period
• Coordinate the smooth running of interim and final audits together with the CFO
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed from time to time

Requirements

• Ideally fully qualified or in the last stages of ACCA

Education and Experience

• Previous local experience up to the preparation of management accounts
• Experience with consolidated management accounts would be ideal
• Be able to work both independently and also in a small team
• Take full ownership of tasks assigned with minimal supervision
