Our client, operating within the wholesale and distribution industry is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their growing team. The chosen candidate would be leading a team both locally and oversees.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Accounting:
- Handling all duties up to management accounts
- Preparing VAT returns and financial data
- Liaising with group auditors
- Supervising the subsidiary ledgers and financial records
Business:
- Working closely with various teams such as business development and distribution for business analyses, proposals and plans
- Contributing to the development of internal controls
- Supporting the company to enter new markets with different projects
- Analysing and interpreting of financial data
Requirements
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience working locally in a similar industry
- Excellent verbal and written Englsih
- Knowledge of Arabic or French will be considered an asset
- Experience working in an international group or export oriented setting would be considered an asset
- Frequent travelling involved
Education and Experience
- Fully qualified and warranted accountant
- Candidates who are actively studying ACCA or equivalent and have specific international, export experience might be considered
