Finance Manager (Temporary - 12 months)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a leading company within the gaming industry on a one-year temporary contract. About the Role

As a Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s financial operations across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes while contributing to strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records within the ERP system.
  • Preparing payment runs and overseeing transactions across several jurisdictions.
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts, including banking, vendors, customers, and accruals.
  • Processing payroll and related reports across different regions.
  • Managing the month-end close process and preparing detailed management accounts.
  • Monitoring departmental budgets and preparing variance reports.
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT and tax returns, ensuring full compliance.
  • Supporting statutory and tax audits with accurate documentation.
  • Enhancing automation and improving financial processes.
  • Collaborating closely with other finance team members to achieve company objectives.

About you:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (Chartered / Certified Accountant or equivalent in finance or business).
  • At least 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a finance role.
  • A strong grasp of local accounting principles and audit practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams and regions.
