We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Credit Controller to join our client's finance team. This role is pivotal in managing our credit risk and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the credit control process, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate effective communication regarding outstanding debts.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts through calls, emails, and letters.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports on outstanding debts and cash flow forecasts.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and disputes promptly.
- Implement and improve credit control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce bad debt.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Good command of English and Greek languages
Education and Experience
- A minimum of a high school diploma
- Previous experience in a similar role will be consider an asset, but not mandatory
