Cost Control Officer - Gozo based
Our client based in Gozo is looking for a Junior Cost Control Officer to join their young team
Responsbiliities
Track daily costs for raw materials, packaging, and production activities.
Analyse sales trends to support forecasting, planning, and decision-making
Assist with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
Monitor production variances and investigate any differences to improve cost control.
Prepare and present clear cost analysis reports for management.
Work closely with procurement, production, and finance teams to keep costing accurate and consistent.
Oversee production planning, resource use, and inventory levels to keep operations efficient.
Requirements
Previous experience in cost accounting, administration, or finance
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting
