Cost Control Officer - Gozo based

Our client based in Gozo is looking for a Junior Cost Control Officer to join their young team 

Responsbiliities

  • Track daily costs for raw materials, packaging, and production activities.
  • Analyse sales trends to support forecasting, planning, and decision-making
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Monitor production variances and investigate any differences to improve cost control.
  • Prepare and present clear cost analysis reports for management.
  • Work closely with procurement, production, and finance teams to keep costing accurate and consistent.
  • Oversee production planning, resource use, and inventory levels to keep operations efficient.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cost accounting, administration, or finance
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting
