Our client, a well-established Corporate Service Provider with over 40 years of operations in Malta, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.
Main responsibilities include :
Managing client financial and management accounting, with the ability to handle and coordinate multiple client deadlines simultaneously;
Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns and tax returns, including tax refund claim forms;
Supervising, mentoring, and providing guidance to junior members of the finance team;
Coordinating and maintaining day-to-day accounting records
Overseeing accounting and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance;
Preparing financial statements and liaising with external auditors as required.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word;
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role;
Education and Experience
A degree in Accountancy, ACCA qualification, or an equivalent professional certification;
