A client of ours specialised in Industrial Goods and Services is looking to onboard a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. The designated person will be reporting to the Board of Directors , and responsibilities are as follows:
Duties:
- Lead the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports to the Board of Directors, and senior leadership
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and targets, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actionable strategies to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic financial leadership partnering with senior management to guide business decisions accordingly
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements , working closely with auditors, legal advisors, and external partners as necessary.
- Oversee capital expenditure planning, investment analysis, and funding strategies
- Drive optimisation of financial systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.
- Collaborate with senior management, and department heads, to provide financial support, training, and guidance on achieving financial targets.
- Serve as a financial ambassador building strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
- Champion financial sustainability, cost control, and value creation initiatives
- Contribute to broader corporate leadership, participating in executive decision-making and shaping organisational strategy, all the while fostering a culture of transparency, integrity, and compliance across all financial activities.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax compliance, internal controls, and regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on approach with the agility to operate both strategically and tactically
- Minimum 3 + years' of senior financial leadership experience, ideally within multi-site operations
Education and Experience
- Must be fully qualified and locally warranted
