A highly reputable client of ours specialised in the Hospitality sector is looking to onboard a strategic and seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join their team of professionals. This is a a pivotal leadership role overseeing all financial operations, providing insightful guidance to drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term profitability:
Duties:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, reporting, and compliance for all entities within the Group.
- Lead the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports to the Board of Directors, senior leadership, and key stakeholders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Provide strategic financial leadership across the Group, partnering with senior management to guide business decisions accordingly
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and targets, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actionable strategies to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, working closely with auditors, legal advisors, and external partners as necessary.
- Oversee capital expenditure planning, investment analysis, and funding strategies to support the Group’s expansion and renovation projects.
- Drive optimisation of financial systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.
- Collaborate with General Managers, department heads, and operational leaders to provide financial support, training, and guidance on achieving business targets.
- Lead financial aspects of key initiatives including acquisitions, joint ventures, and new project developments.
- Serve as a financial ambassador for the Group, building strong relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
- Champion financial sustainability, cost control, and value creation initiatives across all entities.
- Contribute to broader corporate leadership, participating in executive decision-making and shaping organisational strategy, all the while fostering a culture of transparency, integrity, and compliance across all financial activities.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading finance teams and partnering with executive leadership to deliver growth and profitability.
- Minimum 8 + years' of senior international and local financial leadership experience, ideally within hospitality and/or multi-site operations
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax compliance, internal controls, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Hands-on approach with the agility to operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic environment.
- Solid exposure and experience with local legislations
Education and Experience
- A recognised Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree and/or CPA/ACCA qualification preferred.
