A reputable client of ours, specialised within the Hospitality industry, is looking to onboard a Chief Financial Officer ( CFO ) to join their international team of professionals, to be based here in Malta. The designated person will hold a key leadership role within a growing international development group, having direct involvement in strategic financial decisions and project financing, as well as exposure to international Hospitality and Real Estate development schemes.
Duties:
Manage budgeting processes and financial performance tracking.
Oversee financial structures and budgeting for international development projects
Ensure accurate financial reporting across all company entities, maintaining strong financial controls and reporting standards.
Work closely with project managers and leadership to ensure financial alignment across various projects
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor project financial performance, cost allocations, and capital deployment.
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial advisors as well as various stakeholders as required.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards, overseeing internal financial controls, governance, and risk management.
Oversee cash flow management, financial planning, and liquidity management.
Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, efficiency, and reporting processes
Supervise financial documentation, invoicing structures, and payment processes.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial management, controlling, or investment-related roles.
Experience managing financial structures across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics
