One of our clients, specialised in Financial Services is looking to onboard a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team of professionals. The designated person will be reporting to and working closely with the CO and responsibilities are as follows:
Duties:
Manage and control all aspects of the Finance department, leading and developing as required
Provide regular and accurate financial management information to the Board of Directors and Senior Management
Ensure that all regulatory submissions are submitted in a timely and accurate manner
Assist the CEO with important business decisions and strategic development
Ensure an efficient reporting structure both regulatory and internally
Manage the relationship with external auditors and stakeholders
Ensure fair and timely presentation of all statutory financial information
Re-engineer current processes where necessary
Be a full member and carry all responsibilities of the Executive Committee
Requirements
Have a minimum 5 years local experience as a Chief Finance Officer or a similar role at Senior leadership level
Solid experience in Banking, Insurance &/or other Financial Services sectors will be considered as a strong asset
Have strong technical expertise including IFRS's
Education and Experience
Must be a fully qualified and warranted Accountant
